Leslie began her journey in the ABA field at 18, starting with respite care, a role that opened the door to working alongside a BCBA in home sessions and later joining an ABA company. From there she gained valuable experience in group homes and day programs, supporting young adults on the spectrum and strengthening her patience and passion for the field. She later transitioned into a paraeducator role, where despite budget limitations, her dedication to helping students succeed never wavered. Discovering Gentry felt like a natural next step, aligning perfectly with her purpose, 13 years in and her passion only seems to grow in this community.
