Gentry Learning Center (GLC) Ages 18 months and up

The Gentry Learning Center (GLC) is located on our main campus in North Central Phoenix. The GLC is run like a typical preschool and is designed to deliver the clinical intensity needed for meaningful progress, while also offering children a rich, engaging preschool experience that supports social, emotional, and developmental growth.

Individualized & Developmentally Appropriate Learning
Each child receives individualized instruction based on their unique needs, strengths, and developmental level. Instruction is guided by evidence-based treatment, an early learning curriculum, and individualized treatment goals developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Focus on “Ready-to-Learn” & School Readiness Skills
GLC places a strong emphasis on foundational skills that prepare children for future learning environments and set them up for long-term academic and social success. These skills include:

  • Attending and engagement
  • Following routines and transitions
  • Early communication and social interaction
  • Play skills and peer interaction
  • Emotional regulation and independence

Naturalistic Teaching in a Preschool Environment
Teaching is embedded naturally throughout the day using play-based and naturalistic ABA strategies. Skills are taught in real-life contexts within a fun, structured preschool setting, allowing children to practice and generalize skills as they learn.

Enrichment & Movement
To support whole-child development, our daily schedule includes:

  • Daily art activities to promote creativity, fine motor skills, and self-expression
  • Weekly physical education (PE) to support gross motor development, coordination, and body awareness
